The day before the winter solstice may not strike you as the most comfortable time to do engagement pictures, but this year the weather made a big exception. By the way, I really can't help but pronounce solstice as soul-steece a la Trey in Broad City, hopefully someone else out there understands me.
Caroline and Bryan suggested we meet at the Scituate lighthouse, and did it ever provide catnip for me - jetties, tall grasses, overturned rowboats!!
After we art-directed a couple peoples' selfies for them, we got down to the serious business of wandering the amazing sunny coastline.
The colors of the grasses and water were incredible in the golden light at 2 pm - thanks solstice!
I'm so excited to see more of you two in July, thanks for introducing me to Scituate!
