I was a lucky girl to spend an afternoon poking around Portsmouth's alleys (some even come with shark murals!!) and bridges with top tour guides Emily and Chris, who must have been pretty convinced I wasn't actually from New England by the end because I wouldn't stop squealing about how cute and colonial everything was.

Next stop on our tour of places I've never spent time in was Rye Beach (seriously, bad New Englander). It was amazing to be shown around places that mean so much to Emily and Chris, who are both from New Hampshire and have been together since the OC was originally airing. They know all the good NH spots.

We hightailed it out of town once I heard they had seen an old farm that they wanted to stop by if we had enough time. "Old farm" is a trigger phrase for me, so I basically dragged them to the car after that.

Emily and Chris, you are so much fun - I can't wait for your wedding next year!
