I almost always claim that I’ll be out on the dance floor because if I’m going to take pictures of you dancing, you’ll get to see my sweet moves - but apparently it takes two things to keep me slightly farther away: a pandemic, and the level of dance skills in these families.

Emily and Will - White Gates Farm Tamworth New Hampshire Wedding
When it comes to weddings, having things come together according to plan is rarely the result of coincidence, but months and years of hard work by lots of people. Scheduling a wedding for peak foliage season and then getting it, along with streaming sunshine - well, that’s just a lovely coincidental icing on the cake (or doughnuts, in Emily and Will’s case). I realized how easy it was to get jaded about fall - in Boston it’s mostly ornamental but beautiful leaves, and a nice temperature change. Driving up to Tamworth for this wedding, though, was a re-introduction to real fall - and it just got lovelier once I started the day with Emily and Will and their plans.

Kate and Phil’s wedding let me explore Manchester New Hampshire on what should have been a chilly winter day, but turned out to be one of those rare days in December where you can go coat-free. They also got me to go to a museum, which is no small feat. Although the Currier is a museum I would actually like to go back to - New Hampshire, it has some good stuff! I can’t say enough how lovely it was to have such a relaxed day and night in Kate’s hometown - getting ready at her house, saying hi to the neighbors on her way to the ceremony - it made an incredibly special day even more so.
